SymbioLab, the first title from our Aperiodic Games studio, turns AI interaction into a creative sport. It’s a game where you don’t just control a character; you empower an AI partner by crafting its personality through verifiable prompts (Proof) to create a new form of collaborative play (Presence).
Status: Concept stage, with a proof-of-concept for the core gameplay loop implemented as a ChatGPT App.

Marcelo Maciel Amaral, PhD A theoretical physicist and engineer architecting the cryptographic and systems foundations that make trustworthy AI possible. Marcelo leads the technical execution of the Gauge Freedom vision.
Raymond Aschheim A physicist, engineer, systems architect, and mathematician driving the grand vision for Human-AI Symbiosis and the ecosystem strategy for Gauge Freedom and its ventures.
Together they co-founded Gauge Freedom, Inc. as a for-profit benefit corporation designed to turn deep research into durable, revenue-generating products.
Our Data Moat: The Quastra Moonshot
Our work doesn’t stop at building products. The architectures we’re creating and the data they generate are building a unique, proprietary asset: a dataset that combines insights from human-AI interaction with decades of our private/personal research in material science and fundamental physics. This defensible data moat is the core competitive advantage behind our ultimate moonshot, Quastra: a foundational model trained on the mathematics of gauge theory itself. We are building a business to fund a new kind of discovery and create an AI that can help us probe the deep structure of reality.
